About DCMView

DCMView is a free, privacy-first DICOM viewer that runs entirely in your web browser. It lets patients, students, technicians and radiologists open medical imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray and more) without installing any software and without uploading files anywhere: all parsing and rendering happen locally on the device, so patient data never leaves it.

What the app does

• View DICOM series in the browser — window presets, zoom, pan and slice navigation.
• Anonymize DICOM files by scrubbing identifying tags before you share them.
• Export slices as PNG/JPG images and whole studies as PDF reports.
• Batch-process series and entire folders — free up to 300 files per batch, with an optional one-time paid license for unlimited batch size.

The app is free to use at dcmview.com — no account, no upload, no sign-in of any kind.

How DCMView uses Google APIs

The DCMView team operates an internal, owner-only utility under the DCMView brand that calls the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner) in read-only mode to look up aggregate keyword search-volume statistics for its own advertising accounts, solely to plan this site's own marketing. This utility accesses no Google data belonging to end users, and nothing obtained through Google APIs is sold, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose.
